Karma was immediate, then there’ll be no crimes,

Children have bad ass guardian angels, then there’ll be no abuse,

we can feel each other pain, then there’ll be…

no wars,

no famine,

no murders,

my pain will be yours, your joys mine to share.

I wish

tolerance was not just a byline,

apathy was treated as a crime,

folks can’t have babies till their minds catch up with their bodies,

then there’ll be,

no genocide,

no third world hunger,

no babies dumped for the sake of misplaced religious pride,

i feel for you, you’ll stand and fall by my side.

I wish

greed was just a misspelled color of grass,

murder only refered to a group of crows,

love conquered all, bunny rabbits, cotton candy and all that jazz,

then maybe, just maybe,

the things i dreamed and wished might come to be.
