Have you seen the latest visit Singapore ad? It’s a wonderful ad, detailing what you can do in the country. Nightclubs, food, shopping, all the fun stuff. I like it, even thinking of visiting the country. But what bothers me about it is the spokesperson for the ad. It happens to be the runner up for the Miss Malaysia pageant.

HELLO! Am i the only one that thinks something is not right here? Isn’t a miss Malaysia (even the runner-up) supposed to be promoting Malaysia as a tourist destination? Especially since 2007 is Visit Malaysia year. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing againts her personally, but it’s just wrong. Aren’t there enough Singaporeans that can do the ad? Let me give a suggestion… how about Miss Singapore?
